#Review ROYALLY MATCHED by Emma Chase

After reading Royally Screwed I couldn't say no to this book.
And as the banner says...
What's better than a handsome prince? A wild one!

Certainly Henry Pembroock is the definition of wild. He loves to party hard and to fuck even harder. But when his brother gave up the throne to marry Olivia, the party was over for Henry and all the responsabilities he'd been avoinding over the years fell in front of him suddenly. He wasn't ready. At least, he thougt he wasn't.

Everyone was counting on him, her brother trusted him, but her grandma wasn't sure if Henry was understanding what was expected of him. She decided to give him some space, and then... well... shit got crazy.

I'm sure you've seen The Bachelor and reality shows similar to that one. Yeah?

What if I say Henry got involved in some kind of reality show to find a girlfriend. What if I say that he was bored enough to bite the bullet and bring that madness to his palace.

Would you believe me?

Well, that's exactly what happened, but the result of that adventure wasn't what Henry expected.

I loved this book. Maybe you're wondering why, maybe you think the blurb is cheesy or maybe you hate reality shows, but let me tell you... This book was freaking hilarious.

The story was funny, sweet, sexy and VERY romantic. Henry is so cute! He loves music, also he's talented. He can play the guitar and sing. He's also kind of misunderstood (who doesn't like the misunderstood guy?). He always lived under the shadow of his older brother. Nicholas was the favorite, the responsible and successful one, and Henry was just the party boy, the funny one... So, you got the feeling that he's overcompensating when he defies the Queen, calling out for attention.

Sarah, in the other hand, is so naïve and innocent. She's always taking care of her family and friends, she has a big heart and loves to read, she's passionate about what she believes, but she's shy.

This story about Henry and Sarah was absolutely breathtaking. It was impossible not to fall in love with them, laugh with them... But also cry with them. I loved the previous book, but this is my favorite in the series by far.

Henry evolved beautifully through the book. He wanted to change into the man Sarah deserves, but also Sara grew up wonderfully. Henry helped her to get out of her shell, build confidence, makes her feel strong enough to stand up for herself. It was beautiful and touching.

The last few chapters were truly heart-warming and moving. They take some time to prepare themselves for the future, to fulfill their duties. Reading Henry's letters was so sweet, to read how he expresed his feelings for Sarah but keeping that naughty part of himself was so romantic. And the epilogue was just magical.

I'm sure Emma Chase will surprise me with the next book. She always does it. Meanwhile I'll keep saying Henry and Sarah are my favorite couple in the series.

Can't wait for the next installment.

ABOUT ROYALLY MATCHED:

Some men are born responsible, some men have
responsibility thrust upon them. Henry John Edgar Thomas Pembrook, Prince of Wessco, just got the motherlode of all responsibility dumped in his regal lap.

He’s not handling it well.

Hoping to force her grandson to rise to the occasion, Queen Lenora goes on a much-needed safari holiday—and when the Queen’s away, the Prince will play. After a chance meeting with an American television producer, Henry finally makes a decision all on his own:

Welcome to Matched: Royal Edition.

A reality TV dating game show featuring twenty of the world's most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle. Only one will win the diamond tiara, only one will capture the handsome prince’s heart.

While Henry revels in the sexy, raunchy antics of the contestants as they fight, literally, for his affection, it’s the quiet, bespectacled girl in the corner—with the voice of an angel and a body that would tempt a saint—who catches his eye.

The more Henry gets to know Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum, the more enamored he becomes of her simple beauty, her strength, her kind spirit... and her naughty sense of humor.

But Rome wasn’t built in a day—and irresponsible royals aren’t reformed overnight.

As he endeavors to right his wrongs, old words take on whole new meanings for the dashing Prince. Words like, Duty, Honor and most of all—Love.
